These 2nd Graders pulled off a fantastic surprise celebration to kick off Chinese New Year for Mrs. Iris. They decorated with traditional Chinese symbols such as fans, Chinese writing, lanterns, ate a family-style feast, which is a tradition during this holiday, and shared many laughs with their amazing paraprofessional and classmates.

Lolo Middle School honors our nation’s veterans at the fourth annual Veterans Celebration. This year’s program featured student poems, quotes from local vets, and a preview of their upcoming documentary project, Stories That Need to be Told’ which will debut in early 2020. Guest keynote speaker Ellsbeth Richards shared stories of her lifelong connection to the military. The extracurricular choir and 7th/8th band performed beautifully. There was a reception afterwards with class-made treats and fellowship. THANK YOU to all who have served and their families. Today we celebrate you.
